Okay, the fine print starts here. It is not the composites company. I got word on Friday that I did not get the job. BUT, I got a call from my bro's frenchy alum friend here on Monday night that he had a lead for me. We spoke briefly and agreed to talk the next morning about the details. Tuesday we get the scoop. I call the guy right away and he asks me to come and meet him that day. A little background, it is a high end decorative arts company. Cool. We meet and I pretty much convinced this guy that they had to have me! I started the next day. So, those of you that know my legal issues. They have a company in America and I will work under that company name. I work from 2:30 until 8 or 8:30pm b/c I am only making calls to USA. NYC does not really get going until 9am. At least the designers don't wake up until then. I am straight commission so if I don't make some cash this month I am USA bound. There is no motivation like your as@ to the fire! I am a machine on the phone. I wish I could give you all the scoop but don't want to jinx my situation which is dire now.
Will post more later as am waiting to go out with Fufi! Should make for a good blog next week.
